Is a traditional practice of bathing deities in water, milk, honey, yogurt, and ghee. The pouring of these items symbolizes the pouring of a devotee’s purest love for God and God pours his blessings up on that devotee. By performing this ceremony, one’s mind and senses get purified and washes away their sins. Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita (9.34) “Engage your mind always in thinking of Me, become My devotee, offer obeisances to Me and worship Me. Being completely absorbed in Me, surely you will come to Me.”
